How did the newlyweds meet?

“We’ve known eachother for 10 years! We crossed paths a few times in high school but didn’t fully reconnect till 2021!”

How did Tino propose?

“Moments before our gender reveal where we found out we were having a babygirl, Tino turned to our closest family and friends. I assumed he was going to make a speech or say a prayer, but he then turned to me and that’s when I noticed he was pulling out a ring!”

Did Abbey see it coming or was she surprised?

“I had NO idea! I thought he was going to wait until after our daughter was born.”

Then it was time to find Abbey her dress!

“The One was the very first place we looked, i tried on maybe 10 dresses and wanted to keep going even though one caught my eye. Only after going to one other place we went back to The One for the one that I had my eye on.”

How did Abbey know her dress was "the one"?

“After going to the second place I realized that I was trying to find the one dress from The One that caught my eye in every other dress I tried on. I kept thinking to myself that none of these dresses looked like the one I wanted. Since the One is an off the rack store that doesn’t hold anything I also hated the thought of my dre’s being bought. I also knew it was the one because I didn’t want to take it off and I felt like a princess in it!”

What was Abbey’s favorite part of the planning process?

“My favorite part was definitely dress shopping even though my experience was short it was perfect! I also enjoyed finding inspo for my flowers, hair and makeup and watching those things come to life.”

What was Abbey’s least favorite part?

“Final guest list and final guest count/seating chart were probably my biggest stressors! We are so blessed to have so many amazing people in our lives but the more people the easier I feel like it would be to make a mistake and the day of the wedding once everything was set up at the venue 4 mistakes were found on the seating chart, one being an entire table of people, but everything still worked out!”

What was Abbey’s favorite moment of her wedding?

“My favorite moment was walking down the aisle, taking everything in and seeing my husband in front of me! I also loved hearing my families speeches at the reception and watching our guests enjoy themselves.”

What is the best piece of advice you can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their big day?

“My biggest piece of advice is something everyone says! Take in the whole day, take moments to sit in the present and take mental pictures. Also, some of my favorite photos were the ones where I wasn’t even thinking about the camera, so just relax and enjoy yourself as much as you can! That morning, surround yourself with good people and keep it as calm as possible! As far as planning advice, as stressful as things can get just remember you are the only one who will notice if things aren’t exactly how you picture it. The most important thing is becoming one with your best friend!”

Congratulations, Abbey & Tino!
