How did the new Mr & Mrs meet?
“We met at a game while he was playing college baseball.”
How did Justin pop the question?
“At the Cedar Lake 4th of July fireworks on the boat pier on July 3, 2025”
Did Peyton see it coming or was she surprised?
“It was a surprise. He told me we were going to say hi to his brother that was in a friends boat (he wasn't) to get me to go to the boat pier. Then he got down on his knees and proposed.”
It was time for Peyton to say yes to the dress!
“It was wonderful! Everyone was so nice and helpful. At first we were going to do a destination wedding and I chose a dress that would be appropriate for the beach. When we changed our venue to The Barn & Vineyard I wanted to look at dresses again and ended up with my dream dress.”
How did Peyton know her dress was "the one"?
“My daughter looked at me and said I looked like a princess. It was a dress I always envisioned wearing.”
What was Peyton’s favorite part of the planning process ?
“Getting to spend time with my mom and fiance choosing all the details.”
What was Peyton’s least favorite part?
“Trying to afford everything! Weddings are expensive and it can be very stressful.”
What was Peyton’s favorite moment of her wedding?
'‘Getting ready with my sisters, friends, and mom and then seeing my husband's expression when I was walking down the aisle.”
What is the best piece of advice you can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their big day?
“Don't get stressed out by all the details. Try to just enjoy the process and also your big day because it goes by so quickly.”
Congratulations to The Ruthrauff Family!
