Before it was time to head down the aisle, it was time for Jade to share a special first look with her soon-to-be hubby, Jake!
Except Jake had no idea his groomsman had another idea…

After the nerves were laughed off, it was time for the real first look!
Jake’s reaction to Jade is EVERYTHING!

Jade’s bouquet was a beautiful array of colorful roses and greenery, thanks to the talented Kristina Lynn Floral!

Jade and Jake were married in a beautiful indoor ceremony at the Allure on the Lake in Chesterton!
They were originally going to get married outdoors, but mother nature had other plans.
Luckily, the Allure on the Lake has a ceremony room just for these last minute emergencies!

After they made things official, it was time to party!
Jade, Jake and their guests celebrated all night long!

How did Jade and Jake first meet?
“We matched on Hinge. On the night of blackout Wednesday before Thanksgiving of 2021, Jake saw I was at Franklin House with some friends and came to meet me.”
How did Jake propose?
“I was told we were doing a family photo shoot at Four Corners Winery in Valparaiso. When we got there, my whole family and some friends were in a barn waiting. The doors opened and there was a “Marry Me?” sign with rose petals and candles lit.”
Stop!! Was it a surprise or did Jade know it was coming?
“I was completely surprised and had no clue.”
How was Jade’s dress buying experience?“I brought my mom, mother in law, best friend and two other bridesmaids. I tried on so many dresses. We had a real fun time. Izzy helped us and she was amazing. I loved the whole experience.”
How did you know your dress was the one?
“I was looking for a specific back on the dress and mine had the most beautiful one. I felt myself in it and I cried which I hadn’t done any other time except for a little stress lol.”
What was her favorite part of the whole planning process?
“I really enjoyed planning the surprised for my husband for our wedding day. I made him a boudoir book, had one of his groomsmen dress up in a dress and do the first look to make him laugh and switched the song I walked down the aisle to to his favorite movie, Jurassic Park, instrumental version. He loved all of them and I just love seeing him happy.”
What about her least favorite part?
“I can be very indecisive sometimes. I found it difficult making big decisions because I kept on questioning myself.”
Looking back, what was her favorite wedding day moment?
“Looking out and seeing all our favorite people there. It just felt so heartwarming and happy. We gave a thank you speech that felt so special. And also, ya know.. marrying my best friend lol. I honestly loved it all.”
Does Jade have any advice for brides-to-be currently planning their own special day?
“Remember you’re building a memory, not a party. Do what you want and not what others want because it’s your special day with your fiance and that’s all that matters. Soak in all the small moments of the day. Don't let stress take over. Stick by your then husbands side the whole day to experience it all together. Just breathe and have fun! No stress or drama allowed”
Congratulations, Jade & Jake!!
