For her big day, Elizabeta wore a stunning fitted Martina Liana gown with the most beautiful details!
She paired her dress with this beautiful detailed veil by Bel Aire from Something Blue.

How did the newlyweds meet?
“This is such a complicated answer because there were many ways we met. Matt was a friend of my older brothers but we also attend the same church. It wasn't until summer of 2017 when Matt spent the summer in Macedonia with my brother. With them posting pictures of their trips, and the gift of social media you can say someone slid in someone's DM's, LOL. We started dating that winter and the rest is history.”
How did Matt pop the question?
“Matt proposed on my birthday at Roundbarn Winery in Michigan with our closest friend and family members in attendance. I love my birthday and always have something planned, so we gathered all the friends and family members and rented a cabana. Little did I know Matt was behind the scenes planning something else. There was a moment where I was opening my gifts and with the help of my best friend who was hiding the ring for him, I opened "her" gift last, the gift being the ring. It was perfect, my reaction, our friend's reaction because only a few knew what he was planning on doing, everything was so perfect.”
Was she surprised or did she know it was coming?
“I was 10000% surprised, I knew it was going to happen that year but had no idea when or where or what.”
She said yess to the man! Now it was time to say yes to the dress!
“My dress buying experience was such a great one. I loved every moment about it. From the SBB girls, to the girls I had with me, to the whole experience it was such a positive one. I went dress shopping about two months after being engaged, it made the whole "getting married" feel really real at that moment!”
How did you know your dress was "the one"?
“I knew my dress was the one a month before my dress appointment, LOL. I was stalking the SBB instagram page and found my dress, screenshotted the post and sent it to Sandy. When we got the dress appointment my dress was already in the changing room, I still had all my girls pick a dress and I did as well. When I went to try on the dresses, mine was the first one and I knew right away that it was the one. It's cheesy to say but you really do know, the emotions hit you right away. “
What was her favorite part of the planning process?
“My favorite part of planning was all the little things, wedding ring band shopping, all the traditions we do in our culture, all the little moments that are overlooked during planning.”
What was her least favorite part?
“The seating chart, basically anything that had to do with a spreadsheet LOL. I dedicated this task to Matt and my FIL.”
Looking back, what was her favorite wedding day moment?
“Hands down when Matt and I first saw each other. We both cried like babies, but also having our family around us in the moment was so special.”
Does Elizabeta have any advice for brides-to-be who are currently planning their big day?
“I got this advice a lot during my planning, and it was to really take in all the moments, from planning and to the actual wedding. We can get so lost in making sure the day is perfect, so having this advice really helped me to step back and to really enjoy everything around me.”
