Alyssa and Justin didn’t let a little rain ruin their day!
They were married in a beautiful indoor ceremony at The Barn & Vineyard in Beecher, IL!

After the newlyweds were officially hitched, it was time to celebrate with a beautiful reception!

How did Alyssa and Justin first meet?
“Justin and I met on Bumble. I messaged him 1 minute before our match would have expired!”
How did Justin pop the question?
“Justin proposed on September 30, 2023 at County Line Orchard. We had a tradition of going to County Line every year for a fall date day, but 2023 was extra special since we got engaged!”
Was it a surprise or did she know it was coming?
“I hoped an engagement was coming, but I was surprised it happened on that day at County Line.”
After she scored the ring, it was time for Alyssa to find her wedding dress!
“My dress buying experience was easier than I ever thought it could be! I was secretly dreading wedding dress shopping because I hated dress shopping for events in the past. Luckily, I loved the vibe at Something Blue, and I felt supported by the staff member helping me. I found my dress at Something Blue on my first day of dress shopping!”
How did she know her dress was "the one"?
“The dress I chose was the second dress I tried on. I loved the feel of the dress, but I kept trying on other options. I realized the dress was "the one" when I kept comparing all the other dresses to "#2". The decision was final once I tried on a veil, and I felt so confident! That was the first time I truly saw myself as a bride.”
What was Alyssa’s favorite {and not-so-favorite} part of wedding planning?
“My favorite part of the planning process was choosing vendors! I loved getting to know the people who would help capture all the precious moments and make my ideas come to life on our wedding day!
My least favorite part of wedding planning was making decor decisions. There are so many intricate details that come into the decor aspect of things, and that part was definitely overwhelming.”
What was her favorite wedding day moment?
“My favorite moment of our wedding was our first dance. Having those few minutes with my husband, Justin, in a room filled with our closest friends and family was truly special. The happiness and gratitude I felt in that moment is something I'll never forget!”
What is the best piece of advice Alyssa has for brides-to-be who are currently planning their big day?
“The best piece of advice I have for future brides is truly to enjoy every moment, because time flies! Wedding planning is so stressful, but everything comes together perfectly on wedding day🤍!”
