We LOVE a glove moment!

Introducing our beautiful bride, Courtney!

For her August wedding, Courtney was the epitome of timeless with her fitted mikado gown and long satin gloves by Stella York!

She accessorized even more with a pearl belt and veil by Bel Aire Bridal and earrings by Ti Adoro!

Courtney’s flowers were so bright and beautiful!

She worked with Petals Boutique Flowers in Dyer, IN!

Courtney and her hubby, Jack, were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at The Barn and Vineyard in Beecher, IL!

After they made things official, it was time to celebrate!

The reception, also at The Barn and Vineyard, was full of special touches that showed off the couple’s personality!

How did Courtney and Jack first meet?

“We met through a mutual friend on New Year's Eve 2016, but with Jack being English, we spoke via FaceTime until we first met in person in June 2018!”

How did Jack pop the question?

“I was proposed to at Hamstra Gardens in Wheatfield in June 2024. Jack took me through the gardens and, at each stop, gave me a memorable photo of the two of us. Each photo also had a promise he made to me, and he popped the question under a beautiful awning next to a Koi pond.”

Did Courtney have any idea it was about to happen??

“I knew it was coming! With our relationship being international (Me in Indiana and Jack in England), I knew the engagement was happening during his summer visit in 2024, but I did not know where or how!”

After she secured the ring, it was time for Courtney to secure the dress!

“My dress buying experience was something truly out of a fairy tale. Sandy was the best stylist! She truly was amazing! She gave the most helpful advice, helped me figure out what dresses would be best for my body type, venue, and vision, as well as being a comfort during the entire process. She was my biggest MVP and advocate and made sure I got my dream dress!”

What was Courtney’s favorite {& least favorite} part of wedding planning??

“My favorite part of the planning process was picking colors, making my wedding mood board, and seeing everything come together. I loved being creative and being able to shape the wedding day to mine and Jack's dream! It truly felt like I was crafting art during the planning process.

My least favorite part of the planning process was the stress of choosing vendors and making sure everything was squared away with payments as well as vetting vendors to make sure that they fit our needs, but we got very lucky with the ones we chose!”

Does she have a favorite wedding day memory?

“My favorite moment of the wedding was looking at my husband for the first time, surrounded by our loved ones and friends, and seeing the pure love and joy on his face as we read our vows to each other. Close second would be seeing myself in my wedding gown!”

What’s the best piece of advice Courtney can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their own big day?

“Enjoy their entire process and fully take it in, it goes by TOO quickly!! Savor every single moment. The dress fitting. The makeup and hair trials. Meeting vendors and telling them about how they will play such a huge part in your dream wedding. The food tasting! The final touches! Giving your partner grace through it all is important too. Really though, the day goes by quicker than any other day, so make sure to be in the moment, even if it's a minute you step away to breathe, make sure you take it all in!”

Congratulations Courtney & Jack!
