This bride! This dress! SO GOOD!!

We are pleased to introduce you to Ashley!

For her June wedding, Ashley chose an incredible Allure Bridals gown that is an absolute showstopper! Her Bel Aire veil is the icing on the {wedding} cake!

SO beautiful!

Before walking down the aisle, Ashley wanted to give her dad and step dad a sneak peek of her dress.

First it was Dad's turn...

STOP. All the feels!

Next up was her first look with her Step Dad....

We just love those!

For her flowers, Ashley worked with the Bonnie View to create a vibrant bridal bouquet, with baby's breath for the bridesmaids.

Ashley and Zach were married at County Line Apple Orchard.

A tractor was waiting outside of the barn to whisk guests to the ceremony location within the orchard {so cool}.

A sign at the ceremony site reminded guests to sit back and enjoy the wedding and leave the picture-taking to the photographer!

After the ceremony, guests headed back to the Big Barn for a fun night of dinner, dancing, "Muskin Mules" {we love this} and some yummy pie baked at the orchard!

We love a barn wedding! That chandelier is so gorg!

Let's learn a little more about Ashley and Zach!

How did the newlyweds meet?

"We have known each other for about 10 years, but don't actually remember when or where we met, just that we met through a mutual friend Carli. We would run into each other on and off at bars and the like, but never spent much time together.

Fast forward to St. Patrick's Day 2014, we ran into each other at Diamond Jim's in Crown Point. My friends begged me to come out and when I went to the bar to get a drink, Zach and his friends were there. We ended up talking and instead of going back to my friend table, my friend and I ended up spending the rest of the night out with Zach and his friends.

Our first date was the following Friday at The Lighthouse Restaurant in Cedar Lake and we have been together ever since."

Zach decided to propose when Ashley was least expecting it..

"Zach proposed spur of the moment at my mom & stepdad's house in Michigan. We were up there celebrating my stepdad's 50th birthday. Little did I know, my sister, Haley and my mom, had been conspiring with him all day.

After we had been hanging out outside and in the pond, he asked me if I wanted to go sit in one of the floats. We walked down the stairs onto the beach and he turned us around and asked for everyone's attention and I realized what was happening.

He made a little speech to everyone and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and of course I said yes!! It was a big surprise!"

After Zach put a ring on it, it was time to start planning!

Ashley knew exactly where she wanted to start...

"I jumped right on looking for a dress, I went to try a few dresses on with my mom, grandma, sister and aunt/godmother in Michigan. The first store was not the most helpful but we had fun, I let my family pick out dresses for me to try on.

Something Blue was the second store I went to, I ended up with the second dress I tried on. I tried a lot more on but kept thinking about the one I ended up with. At the end I tried it back on and decided it was the perfect dress. We had so much fun at the store and felt like we were the only ones there even though it was a busy day!"

When it came to planning her big day, what was Ashley's favorite part of the process?

"Coming up with all the decor and putting our personality into it."

What about her least favorite part?

"Chasing down RSVPs!"

We hear that ALL THE TIME!

The big day had finally arrived. Which part sticks out in Ashley's mind the most?

"My favorite moment of the day was seeing Zach when I walked down the aisle."

Now that the wedding is over, what is Ashley's biggest takeaway from the whole

"Make sure that you start early, and make sure to do research on any vendors that you use."

Any other advice for brides currently planning their dream wedding?

"My biggest piece of advice would be to make sure to get a good, professional photographer and to remember the day is about you and your future spouse. Other people can make suggestions, but at the end of the day it's what you want."

Congratulations, Ashley and Zach!! Thank you so much for letting us share your beautiful wedding day!
