This bride, y’all!

Introducing our gorgeous bride, Amanda!

For her late summer wedding, Amanda looked absolutely stunning in a fitted lace gown by Enzoani. The beautiful lace details, low back and long train are SO gorg!

Amanda and her bridesmaids carried bouquets of white roses!

The bride made sure to honor her mother with a special photo charm in her bouquet.

Amanda married her husband, Kyle, in an outdoor ceremony on family property!

“My favorite moment of my wedding was walking down the aisle. Kyle and I have been together almost 10 years and we have two kids and a house and we manage a life of chaos. To see the way he looked at me after ten years and say I do was so special. He was so excited to NOT do a first look and have that special moment and we did. Very special moment.”

The reception was held at The Grand on the Crown Point square, and it was a party!

The newlyweds arrived in style - swapping bridal attire with each other! Amanda told us she wasn’t so happy her gown fit her new husband so well - haha!

The bridal party also enjoyed a game of flippy cup at their table - so fun!

How did Amanda and Kyle first meet?

“Kyle and I actually went to middle and high school together, we’ve known each other since about 7th grade but reconnected at his best friends bonfire when his bff and my bff were “talking” and I had asked him if he remembered me, he said yes and we never left each others side!”

How did Kyle pop the question?

“Kyle proposed to me at my favorite restaurant House of Kobe which we go to every year on my birthday. He and his mom had planned and refilled a fake egg with a note inside that said “will you marry me” and the chef had handed me the spatulas and MADE me stand up in front of my family and friends and throw this egg in the air and try to crack it. When it finally cracked, the note fell on the grill and when I turned around Kyle was on one knee.”

Well that’s adorable! Was she expecting it??

“I had absolutely no idea that he was proposing. We had always talked about never getting married. He had never wanted to be married and I was ok with that. Him proposing was a total shock… even though i always said id always know if he was going too. I was too oblivious. And hungry!”

How was Amanda’s experience saying “yes!” to the dress??

“My dress buying experience was super easy and stress free honestly. I had a dress I had fallen in love with when I was a little girl, printed the photo out and still had it YEARS later. I brought that photo with to my appointment and the second dress I had tried on gave me the same feeling that the photo had given me for all those years. I knew. It wasn’t exact but it had everything I had wanted, I knew I couldn’t leave without it. Everyone was so incredibly helpful and I honestly hadn’t ever felt more beautiful.”

When it came to wedding planning, what was Amanda’s favorite {and least fave} part of the process?

“My favorite part of the planning process was making and designing the tiny intimate and personal details to add. We had a lot of things about our wedding that were specific to us as a couple and things that people had never seen before which was so much fun to create.

My least favorite part of the process was connecting the dots and being my own planner. There’s so many small details that all intertwine and they’re hard to keep track off and make sure everything connects and makes sense. The small things that could easily fall through or weren’t obvious for people who had never planned a wedding before were stressful to keep track of.”

Does Amanda have any words of wisdom for brides who are currently in the planning stages of their own big day?

“My advice to all brides is to do whatever you want. How you want it. No matter what. It’s your day, no one else’s. Do the funny stuff, stand out, defy the traditions and the “norms”. Go all out and have so much fun. Take so many photos. Shake your butt. Dance the night away. Kiss your husband every chance you get.”

Congratulations, Amanda + Kyle!!
