A classic beauty!

We’re so happy to introduce you to our beautiful bride, Miranda!

For her spring wedding, Miranda kept it classy with a satin, off-the-shoulder ballgown by Essense of Australia! She made it all her own by adding a sparkly belt by Jaxie! The pearl Malis Henderson veil was the cherry on top!

Miranda’s beautiful flowers were provided by Unveiled Weddings & Events!

They turned out absolutely stunning!

Miranda married her hubby, Rob, in a beautiful ceremony at White Oak Farm Venue in Michigan City!

To make it even more special, Rob’s dad officiated the wedding!

After the ceremony, everyone headed to the big barn for a beautiful reception!

How did the newlyweds first meet?

“Rob and I met at Sherwin Williams in 2017, we both were employed there. We became good friends for the time being and after I left to go back to college we kept in touch on social media. In 2020 Rob and I decided to go on a date and the rest is history!”

How did Rob pop the question?

“We were actually celebrating my birthday in Wisconsin at a friends lake house, and he surprised me with a cake and a ring! It was definitely special.”

Was it a surprise or did Miranda know it was coming?

“We had talked about getting married but every time we did he said he wanted to make sure he could get me a ring I deserved and wanted to keep saving up. I had no clue at all what it would be when it happened! I was completely shocked.”

After she said “yes!” to Rob, it was time for Miranda to say “yes!” to the dress!

“My dress buying experience didn’t start out the best, we actually went to one other place before Something Blue and the consultant definitely made me feel super pressured to buy the dress I liked most. But the second I walked into Something Blue all that went away and the process was a complete dream come true! It was the first dress I had tried at Something Blue that I got! And I do not regret it one bit!”

How did she know her dress was "the one"?

“I just kept wanting to put it back on, we looked at a few at Something Blue but every time it just didn't compare.”

What was Miranda’s favorite part of the wedding planning process?

“Working with our amazing planner Allison Kelley! She is such a kind soul and now a good friend!”

We also love Allison! What about her least favorite part?

“When it ended!”

What’s her favorite moment from her wedding day?

“Being with my husband!!!! Actually my favorite part was our first touch, we both told each other how much we just wanted to be with each other and get married. It was such a sweet moment I will never forget.”

What is the best piece of advice Miranda can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their own big day?

“ENJOY THE PROCESS!!! The post wedding blues are real and they sink in really hard. I am still sad its over! Just think you will never have those people in a room again, sharing and celebrating that love that you feel with your best friend.”

Congratulations, Miranda and Rob!
