Oh how we love this gorgeous girl!

Introducing our beautiful bride, Jordan!

For her fall wedding, Jordan chose a classic crepe gown by Essense of Australia! We love the high illusion neckline, sparkling lace and stunning back on this gown!

After adding a Bel Aire Bridal veil and jewelry from Malis Henderson, Jordan looked picture perfect on her big day!

For her flowers, Jordan worked with Suzette Ryan with Design Studio Decor!

We will always be suckers for the classic ivory and green combo!

Jordan and her hubby, Jim, were married in a beautiful ceremony at St Christopher Parish in Midlothian IL!

After the newlyweds said “I do”, everyone headed to Esplanade Lakes by Double Tree Hotel in Downers Grove IL for a gorgeous reception!

Jordan loved her gown so much she brought it to Greece on their honeymoon for a seriously stunning photo shoot!

How Jordan and Jim first meet?

“My husband and I met in 2016 while we were standing in line to order Starbucks coffee. Little did I know that the man that asked to pay for my coffee would become the one that that I would spend the rest of my life with.”

How did Jim pop the question?

“My husband proposed to me on September 21, 2019 at a Marianas Trench concert in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Attending this concert was already significant to us because this is the band that plays our first dance song. The song is called “Good to You”. We even got to meet the band!”

So special!

Was it a surprise or did she have a feeling it was coming?

“We talked about taking that next step into marriage, but I had no idea that he was going to propose that day.”

On to our favorite topic - wedding dress shopping!

“I decided to check out three different dress stores, but hands down Something Blue is the best around. My consultant Shannon made me feel so special and I knew that she was there to help me.

They aren't trying to make a sale off of you, they genuinely care about their brides. Would recommend any bride to check out Something Blue for their dress finding experience.”

How did Jordan know her dress was "the one"?

“After trying on quiet a few dresses, I knew I found “the one” when I didn’t want to take it off!”

What was her favorite {and least favorite} part of the planning process?

“I really enjoyed seeing my vision come to life. Aside from that, being able to taste test the food had to be a favorite. At that point in the planning process everything is pretty much accounted for so that was the time I could really start to enjoy the days leading up to the wedding.

My least favorite part of the planning process was having to limit our attendance list. Everyone to us is important but to be realistic we couldn’t invite everyone. So having to choose was very hard.”

What was Jordan’s favorite moment from her wedding day?

“In addition to marrying my husband, a moment that stands out in my head is when we saw everyone on the dance floor. It was then my husband and I looked at each other in awe of the support and love from everyone there.”

What is the best piece of advice she can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their own big day?

“Every bride wants their day to be perfect, but in reality perfect is not ideal.

Things may go wrong and that’s ok. The day is about coming together and celebrating the love that you have for one another. Enjoy every minute of it because before you know it will all be a wonderful memory.”

Congratulations, Jordan and Jim!!
