I mean, come on! How gorgeous is she?!
Introducing our beautiful bride, Taylor!
For her October country club wedding, Taylor looked phenomenal in a strapless, satin ballgown from Something Blue’s very own Private Collection, Emilia Leray!

For her sweet, classic florals, Taylor worked with Julie, the owner of Catherine’s Gardens out of Oak Forest, IL!
This bouquet is so perfect with Taylor’s clean bride vibes!

Before their journey down the aisle, Taylor and her soon-to-be hubby, Tommy, shared a super sweet first look together!

How did the newlyweds first meet?“We met through mutual friends/social media 9 years ago!”
How did Tommy pop the question?
“Tommy proposed to me just over 2 years ago under the gazebo at the Odyssey golf course in Tinley Park!”
Was it a surprise or did Taylor know it was coming?
“I had an idea the engagement was coming but had no idea what day it would be! He and my sisters planning a “birthday party” for a friend which turned out to be our engagement. After proposing, we surprised me with all our close friends and family at a bar.”
Next step: say yes to the dress!
“My dress buying experience was so easy! Something Blue Bridal was amazing and made the whole process stress free! I did not feel pressured when trying dresses on, the staff let me look around the store without hovering over me.”
How did she know her dress was "the one"?
I knew my dress was the one based off of my grandmothers reaction. I felt like a bride once I put it on and couldn’t have been more excited when purchasing it. My identical twin sister went with me dress shopping. I had her put the dress on to see it at every angle!
What was Taylor’s favorite {& least fave} part of the planning process??
“My favorite part of the planning process was the tastings. The food was all so good, and we got to enjoy it with both my husband’s parents and mine. The experience brought our families closer together!
My least favorite part of wedding would be how fast the night went!”
Does she have a favorite wedding day memory?
“My favorite moment of the wedding was soaking it all in and living in the moment. We had so much fun with our friends and family.”
What is the best piece of advice Taylor can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their big day?
“Take it all in, enjoy your time as a fiance. It truly goes by so fast. Do not stress over the little things!”
Congratulations, Taylor & Tommy!!
