We love when a bride is glowing from the inside out!

Introducing our beautiful bride, Nicki!

For her fall wedding, Nicki looked stunning in an A-line gown by Allure Bridals! The sleeves, the lace, the COLOR! This dress {and gorg beaded veil by Bel Aire Bridal} looks perfect on her!

Nicki’s flowers were so gorgeous, thanks to Strack and Van Til in St. John!

The pops of pink are seriously gorg!

Before it was time to make things official, Nicki and her very soon-to-be hubs, Jeremy, took advantage of a quiet first look together!

Jeremy’s reaction to seeing his bride is SO cute!

Nicki and Jeremy were married in an indoor ceremony at Banquets at St. George in Schererville, Indiana!

We are loving the unique arch used at the altar!

After the newlyweds said “I Do”, the room was quickly transformed into a reception to remember!

How did Nicki and Jeremy first meet?

“We met in middle school. But we were actually born at the same hospital hours apart. Wild. I know!”

How cool is that! How did Jeremy pop the question?? Was it a surprise?

“He proposed in our kitchen, just us and the dog. It was simple, and nice to just be alone with that moment.

It wasn't a surprise. We talked about it and went and picked out my ring. Honestly, I loved that and tell everyone they should do it too. You think you know what you want and then you see it on your finger and you're like nope that's not it. We found something that we both loved and I think that made it even more special.”

After she secured the ring, it was time to secure the gown!

“My dress shopping experience was great. I came to Something Blue with my mom, aunt, maid of honor, mother -in- law and sister-in-law. We all picked out a couple dresses. I knew I wanted a poofy dress. I wanted to be able to twirl lol! I tried on a handful but just kept coming back to this dress, my dress. I loved the poof. It wasn't white, I'm so fair skinned, and didn't want to look washed out. The mocha was so pretty and I loved that it had a nice cap sleeve. It was my dream dress.”

When it came to planning the wedding, what were Nicki’s favorite {and least favorite} parts of the whole process?

“My favorite part of wedding planning was picking out our colors for tuxedos, bridesmaids dresses, and flowers. It was fun to play and see what looked good together.

My least favorite part was the seating chart. Where do we put this person? This person can't sit with that person. How many people can I comfortably fit here? It was awful. I think my eye twitched for a week while I was working on that.”

Looking back, does Nicki have any special memories from her big day?

“My favorite moment from the wedding, besides marrying my best friend, was just seeing everyone we love come together to celebrate and have a good time. Everytime I looked around, people were just laughing and having fun.”

Finally, does Nicki have any words of wisdom for brides-to-be who are currently in the throes of wedding planning?

“My best advice for brides to be is don't sweat it. Things are going to go on the day of. Delegate a person or two to deal with it for you. Your guests have no idea that something isn't what it should be, and quite honestly they don't care. Just have fun.”

Congratulations, Nicki and Jeremy!!
