Let’s get to know the newlyweds!
How did Jennifer and Craig first meet?
“Craig and I met at Uncle John’s flea market, he owned a booth there. My brother was one of bud regular customers who would buy hot wheels from him. One day I went with and got to know Craig. He took an interest in me and sent me a Facebook friend request. The rest is history after that.”
How did Craig pop the question?
“He proposed to me in a sunflower field owned by Katlyn who is a photographer!”
Was it a surprise or did she know it was coming?
“I was beyond surprised! I was so happy, I had just graduated nursing school and was so ready to begin a new chapter of my life with my partner.”
On to our favorite topic: dress shopping!
“I knew I wanted to go to Something Blue Bridal from the start! The dresses were always so beautiful and I could tell they cared about their brides. My dress buying experience was perfect! Izzy was my stylist and beyond kind & attentive. She made me feel so comfortable and I immediately trusted her judgment. She knew exactly what I was looking for and styled me perfectly. She made me feel confident and worked with me so well to make sure I feeling 100% with my choices. She played a huge factor in helping me find the dress of my dreams. All of the stylists there were beyond kind and helpful, they are def huge hype woman and made me feel so beautiful. I felt so lucky to have such great group of supportive women since I definitely went over my time but they never rushed me or even mentioned it. They made sure I took my time in being certain on my choice!”
How did Jenny know her dress was "the one"?
“I knew it was the one by how confident I felt in it! The way it hugged by body and sparkled when I twirled! I felt so beautiful in it.”
What was Jenny’s favorite part of wedding planning?
“My favorite part of the planning process was figuring out how to make my Pinterest board come to life. From the seating chart to the cake, I knew I needed to make it happen. Especially figuring out which vendors to use. I absolutely loved all of my vendors they were fabulous!”
What about her LEAST favorite part?
“I genuinely didn’t have least favorite! I love planning and was def type A bride. I enjoyed picking out the vendors and making my Pinterest board happen.”
Does Jenny have a favorite wedding day memory?
“My favorite moment was when a rainbow appeared outside! It was beautiful way of showing God’s promise to helping my husband and I commit to each other. We even got a picture with it!”
What is the best piece of advice Jenny can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their own big day?
“The best piece of advice I can give is to trust the process. Everything will work out and to enjoy their big day. It goes by so quick! However, they will have created memories that last a lifetime!”
Congratulations, Jennifer and Craig!!
