Introducing our beautiful bride, Honorata!
For her early summer wedding, Honorata looked incredible in a fitted, sparkly, lacy gown by Stella York!
We love everything about this gown - from the scoop neckline to the leg slit!

Honorata married her hubby, Tanner, in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Aberdeen Manor in Valpo!
The weather was absolutely perfect for the newlyweds!

After the happy couple said “I do”, everyone headed inside the ballroom to celebrate!
You already know we’re suckers for candles and greenery as decor!

How did Honorata meet Tanner?
“We met through a mutual friend, when I was working at a golf course in the spring of 2018. He thought I was cute so he slid in my Instagram DMs LOL!”
How did Tanner pop the question?
“I was proposed to on a weekend gateway to one of our favorite spots to visit, Milwaukee, WI. He hired a photographer to capture the moment, and it was so special!”
So sweet! Did she have any idea it was coming??
“I had an idea it was happening, as we’ve talked about it in detail. I just assumed it was going to happen when we went on our trip to Boston later that summer, so he had me definitely surprised.”
When it was time to find say “yes!” to the dress, Honorata made her appointment at SBB!
“I had a great experience working with Izzy, she made the experience so special!
She was so easy to work with, and made some great points for helping me say yes to the dress.”
How did she know which dress was “the one”??
“I knew my dress was the one, when I started comparing how the one made me feel compared to other dresses I was trying on.”
What were Honorata’s favorite {and least favorite} parts of wedding planning?
“My favorite part of the planning process was how supportive and helpful my bridesmaids were. I’m very “type B”, so my girls were so helpful in helping he find what I wanted and my vision for the whole day.
My least favorite part was how fast the actual wedding day went by!!! I blinked and it was over, it was the best day ever!”
Now that it’s all said and done, what is Honorata’s favorite memory from her big day??
“My favorite moment was having all of our favorite people in the same place to celebrate us. It felt so magical and special to us both.”
Does she have any solid advice for brides who are currently in the throes of planning??
“My best piece of advice (that took me a while to figure out) is do what you [the couple] want, and what will make you happy. It’s easy to get caught up in what other people envision your day as, but it doesn’t matter, as long as you’re doing what’s making you happy.”
