Introducing our stunning bride, Rachel!

Her winter wedding wasn’t so wintry as it was held on the warm beaches of Maui, Hawaii {we’re jealous}!

For her gown, Rachel chose a gorgeous sheath dress from Allure Bridal’s Romance Collection!

With it’s sparkling lace details, she looked absolutely beautiful for her big day!

Rachel married her hubby, Chris, in a simple but beautiful ceremony on Ironwoods Beach in Maui!

Chris kept his back turned until Rachel was in view so he could have a special first look at his gorgeous bride!

The couple’s sweet son joined his parents during the ceremony - so cute!

How did Rachel and Chris first meet?

“Christopher and I are high school sweethearts, we’ve known each other since we were 15/16 years old.”

How was Rachel’s experience when it came to dress shopping?

“I had a beautiful dress buying experience at Something Blue! I had an idea what I wanted but my dress wasn’t what I was picturing in my head for myself. I wanted something boho and lacy.”

How did she know her gown was “the one”?

“My dress made it into my top contenders and after I tried it on with a veil, I couldn’t stop crying. I just felt so beautiful and like a bride.”

What was her favorite {or least favorite} part of wedding planning?

“Planning an elopement was actually really hard. I went through simply eloped, which they do some things for you, otherwise you are stuck figuring out the rest. I didn’t want a big wedding, but then to not have all my loved ones with me, was extremely hard.”
Looking back, what was her favorite moment from the wedding?
”I could not ask for a better day off, I want to relive it over and over again. All the stress was worth it. It was perfect, I wouldn’t change one thing.”

Does Rachel have any advice for brides who are currently in the middle of planning their own big day?

“My best advice is, it sucks right now planning but trust me when I say when that day comes, nothing else matters but you and your partner and the love you share for each other!”
