After Amanda and Aaron said their “I do’s” they headed to Countyline Orchard for their Reception!

How did the newlyweds meet?

“No crazy fun story here. We met through mutual friends. We were the friends everything thought should be together but we never saw it happening.... until it did!”

How did Aaron proposed Amanda?

“Aaron's family is from Arkansas. We went down for a visit and he proposed at the top of Mount Magazine at the highest point in the state! The views are stunning and it's so special that it was at a place so important to us that we can always visit!”

Was Amanda surprised or did she see it coming?

“It definitely wasn’t a total surprise, we talked about what our future would look like, but I was completely caught off guard on that specific day as it was only day 1 of a 10 day vacation”

How did Amanda know her dress was “The One”?

“I didn't have the typical "the one" moment like I feel people assume its going to be (I think the consultant knew before me). I had seen another dress at a different shop I was planning to try the following week so i couldn't commit until I tried on the other one. But the whole time I was at that fitting, I kept comparing the dresses to the one at Something Blue so then I knew for sure that was the dress for me!”

What was her favorite part of the planning process?

“My favorite part was planning every detail to fit us and exactly what we wanted/ what makes us, us! Your wedding day is the only day where everything gets to be about just the two of you and everyone celebrates that! We actually had lots of people compliment us on how much our wedding truly was about my husband and I and that was so refreshing to hear!”

What was her least favorite part of the planning?

“Wedding planning is a lot. You'll have tons of people telling you what you should/shouldn't do, what they did and just giving their opinion, even when you don't ask for it! Just stay true to you and what you want and it'll all work out!”

What is the best piece of advice Amanda can give brides-to-be who are currently planning their big day?

“The day goes by SO quick!! I had so many people tell me that and it still flew by quicker than I thought.Other than that, if you don't have a planner/day of coordinator, make sure you have someone solid that you trust who can take care of all the little hiccups so that you don't find out until way after! the last thing you want to have is everyone coming to you with every little thing while you're trying to relax and get ready for your day!!”
