We are so excited to introduce you to our gorgeous bride Leah!

Leah was married in June in a beautiful outdoor wedding.

She chose a halter top Willowby by WToo dress and couldn't have picked a more perfect gown for her big day!

For her flowers, Leah worked with Monarch Florist and Events to create her incredible bouquet!

For her bridesmaids, Leah chose ferns instead of a traditional bouquet.

Before saying "I Do", Leah wanted to have a first look with her hubby Austin.

Michelle Hamstra Photography was on hand to capture the moment Austin saw his bride...

Leah and Austin were married at Leah's parent's home.

Not only is it a beautiful piece of property, but the set up for the ceremony was absolutely stunning!

Those chairs! That arbor! We love all of it!!

After the ceremony, the reception was held in a tent filled with strings of lights, flowers and lanterns.

A table just for the kiddos in attendance was such a great touch!

As for food and drinks, Leah and Austin chose to have food trucks instead of traditional catering as well as kegs from local breweries. We are ON BOARD! So cool!

Such a cool wedding!

Let's get to know the newlyweds!

Leah and Austin met as freshmen in high school and after years of dating, he was ready to pop the question...

"The night of the proposal, we went out for dinner with friends. At the restaurant, we all made plans to go back to my parent’s house to hot tub. When Austin and I pulled into the driveway, I realized there were lanterns lining the driveway, and large photos of us set up around the yard. He led me down to a table adorned with more photos of us, candles, and lanterns. He handed me a homemade scrap book full of memories and pictures of us. When I finished reading the book, he was on one knee!"

Did Leah have any idea a proposal was coming?

"Although I knew that he was looking at rings and planning a proposal at some point, I had no idea it would be that weekend!"

When the time came to shop for a dress, Leah didn't have a hard time deciding on the one..

"I only had to go to two dress shops before finding “the one” at Something Blue. It was all surprisingly stress free and easy! Although I wanted a dress that would make me feel amazing and would impress my guests, I knew that ultimately, Austin would love me in anything, so overthinking wasn’t necessary.

When I first tried on my dress, I knew I loved it, but it took me a while to officially pull the trigger…mainly because I am a cheap Dutch girl, and was always taught to sleep on any decision that involves spending money. Ha! It was especially special to me, because it was the dress that my Mother-in-Law picked out, and was the overwhelming winner to all of my family and bridesmaids."

Let's talk wedding planning. What was the best part?

"My favorite part of the planning process was sampling our food truck options haha!"

I mean that would be ours too.

What about her least favorite part?

"My least favorite part was the waiting… I just wanted to get married ASAP!"

Finally, the wedding day had arrived! What was the best part of the day?

"My favorite moment of the wedding was witnessing everyone we’ve ever known and cared about coming together in one spot. We’ve got friends and family all over the country, so to have everyone celebrate with us in one location was incredible! And then dancing the night away with them was even better.

Any advice for future brides??

"My advice is TO CHILL OUT! Why stress about details? The whole day is so that you get to marry the love of your life. If anything goes wrong, WHO CARES? Your fairy tale is coming true. People love you. This is an amazing new chapter in your life, and no mishap is going to change that."

YES! We love this advice!

Thank you so much to Leah and Austin for letting us share their beautiful day! To see more of their gorg pictures check out the gallery below!
