Shopping Advice from a Bridal Consultant

First off, congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting time in your life, and we can’t wait to be a tiny piece of your puzzle. I am going to give you a little piece of mind when it comes to dress buying. So sit back, grab a snack, and take a deep breath! I got you, girl.

Let me start out by saying, you are exactly where you should be at this point in time. No matter how mad you are at yourself for not losing the 10 pounds after college, for cutting your hair because it won’t grow back now, or the fact that you are still in college despite your colleagues graduating and finding great jobs. Your significant other loves you and values you as you are…enough to get down on one knee and ask to spend the rest of their life with you! Keep that in mind! Very important.

Ok, moving on. With that being said. The hard truth - it doesn’t matter what dress you actually buy. What does matter is the confidence and beauty you exude IN “the” gown. If you are uncomfortable, or unhappy, it will show! So search for that gown that makes you FEEL like 10 million dollars! Bonus: it doesn't have to actually cost 10 mill. {Shameless plug}

Every appointment is lead by a consultant. These girls are trained bridal ninjas, ok? Haha, ok not really. But, we are very good at what we do! Talk to your consultant. Tell her every detail possible. While you are giving us info, or just chatting it up with us, we are building your perfect gown in our heads and running our minds through our inventory continuously during the entire appointment! Communicate.

Be OPEN! I mean this in every sense. Be open to trying styles your consultant suggests, and be open to trying things on that you didn’t originally picture. That gown you swore to yourself you would never even try, could end up being THE gown! So, why not try?!

And don't forget… take a deep breath. It will be over before you know it, so soak in every moment! Weddings don’t just unite you and your fiance, but it really does bring everyone together… cherish it.

Your consultant, Celine xoxo
